Countryside Downtown

Although in the middle of the city, the apartment was designed to provide the occupant the feeling they are living in the peaceful country side, an island of peace in the bustling city.

Therefore, the house is completely surrounded by big windows, overlooking the greenery of courtyard.

I have created a very warm outside living space which draws the occupants to spend a lot of their time enjoying and relaxing.

The kitchen, the heart of the apartment, is located between the courtyard and the living room, which provides a welcoming and 

comfortable hosting experience and a fluid connection between the inside and outside.

If I had to define the project in just one sentence, it would be: “Everyone that enters feels as if they've arrived home”
